About the BHF

Since it was formed in 1997 (with its inaugural year in 1998), The Billerica Holiday Festival continues to delight people of all ages from surrounding towns during the season of enchantment and celebration. This year, celebrating our 25th Anniversary Season, the Holiday Festival has transformed in to an event that is anticipated all year through.

Again this year we feature a breathtaking collection of trees, ornaments, baskets and prizes that are sure to make your holidays merry.  In the spirit of "Going Green" we have converted 100% of the Billerica Common Area lighting to LED lights that require one-tenth the electricity. With OVER FOUR MILES of holiday lighting adorning the Billerica Common and adjacent areas, you simply have to see it!

Get into the spirit of the season and visit the creative displays at the Billerica Public Library.  Details and schedule for the Home for the Holidays Raffle and Display can be found here.

Don’t miss the Billerica Town Common Tree Lighting Ceremony  where fun family activities lead up to the lighting and where Santa has even been known to stop by for a visit!

The Annual Holiday Reception (a paid, 21+ event) is held on the Friday night before Thanksgiving.  Attendees are given first chance to purchase tickets to this event which has established itself as the official Holiday Season Kick-off for the Billerica Holiday Festival.

The Home for the Holidays Display and Raffle runs from the Reception though the second Sunday in December at the Billerica Public Library (Concord Road, Billerica, MA – conveniently located in the Historic Town Center of Billerica). Raffle tickets will be sold at the library.  For ticket sales hours, click here.

View all the trees, watch the common light up, have photographs taken with Santa and stroll leisurely through the downtown area.  We invite you to share the sights and sounds of a New England Holiday and a tradition-in-the-making!
